I've spent 12 years helping small businesses get their books right, and my background in real estate and technology means I understand both the numbers and the systems behind them. I've built bookkeeping systems from scratch, cleaned up years of tangled records, and worked directly alongside CPAs, lenders, and investors who needed numbers they could rely on. Hi, I'm Yancy — and I've spent the last 12 years helping small business owners get their books out of chaos and into something they can actually use.
I started BrightPath because I kept meeting business owners who were smart, capable, and completely overwhelmed by their financials. Not because they weren't sharp — but because nobody had ever given them a clear system, in plain English, that actually fit how their business worked. I wanted to be that person.
I'm a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor (Level 1 and Level 2) and QuickBooks Payroll Certified. On payroll, I handle the books side: your provider runs payroll, and I record and reconcile it so your numbers match. Along with 12 years of bookkeeping, I've spent years on the operating side of real estate and decades in technology, so I understand both the numbers and the systems behind them. Whether you have clean books that just need maintaining, or you haven't touched QuickBooks since last spring, I've seen it — and I know exactly how to move forward.
I'm based in Pearland, Texas (just south of Houston), and thanks to cloud technology, I work with business owners all over the US. Every client gets the same thing: a bookkeeper who knows their numbers, delivers on time, and is genuinely easy to work with.
